There is a story of explorers being led through the jungle by natives. After hours of walking they came to a clearing where the natives sat down. When asked why, their simple response was "We are waiting for our souls to catch up with us."
That is Sunday Morning. We join together for worship and for fellowship -- and to allow our souls to catch up with us. Yes, we also sing and pray. The United Methodist tradition is deeply grounded in the traditional hymns of John and Charles Wesley and as well as more contemporary music. Whether it is in the Scripture reading, or the Time with the Children, the sermon, the choir anthem, or simple silence, there is something for everyone.
Sunday ends one week and prepares for the next. Why don’t you drop by?
