Members of the handbell choir enjoy ringing the warm sound of our Schulmerich bells. Children learn from an early age the importance of working together to make a joyful noise unto the Lord. Besides developing music skills, ringers learn to value teamwork.
Our handbell choir meet on Sunday mornings. This music ministry involves children and youth from mid-September through mid-May. Ringers practice for about 40 minutes and play during special services/events. If you would like your child to participate, please contact our Music Director Daniel at (917) 562-0961 or email him at firstname.lastname@example.org.
On Christmas Eve our church school puts on a spectacular nativity show for the congregation. People from near and far come out to see our children perform and enjoy the whole experience. The Sanctuary is lit with lights and traditional songs are sung together as we prepare for the birth of Christ.
Below are testimonials from members of our congregation...
"I love this time of the year, the Sanctuary comes alive and gets filled with love and laughter".
"I try never to miss this magical show, we love watching the kids up on stage ".
