  • The sermons of john wesley

(Tuesdays @ 9am) This will be a study with Pastor Scott.  The group will read one John Wesley sermon each week followed by conversation on Tuesday mornings at 9am.  This will be a chance to learn about John Wesley himself, Wesleyan theology, and Methodism as a whole. (use link above in red)

  • food and justice in the bible

(Thursdays @ 7pm) This study aims to familiarize participants with understandings of food and agriculture in the biblical world, and the physical implications/realities of food and farming throughout a variety of Hebrew Bible and New Testament scriptures. All throughout our learning on biblical and historical understandings of food, this group will pose questions of what 21st century Christians seeking to embody just consumption and communion/ing might glean from these ancient practices and ethics.
